The Pledge page is built up from people and organisations that believe in the Vision of CLNM.
Our vision is to have a platform that authentically engages young people in developing care leaving services. By empowering and supporting care leavers within House Projects to positively challenge and influence leaving care services on a local and national scale, they can improve outcomes for young people leaving care across the country.
If you believe in the vision of CLNM and would like to pledge your support please leave your details below and we will get in touch.
Madlug was founded in 2015 by Dave Linton. A man whose only experience in the luggage industry was bags of enthusiasm. This 40-something Youth Worker was heartbroken to learn that most children in care transport their worldly belongings in a bin bag. In that moment, Dave set out to do something about it. With just £480, he started Madlug and came up with our ‘Buy one Give one’ approach: with every bag you purchase, one will be given to a child in care. VALUE-WORTH-DIGNITY
At SAYes we train mentors to support young people to develop their independence and well-being. Mentors meet with a young person for one hour a week over a 9-month period. Throughout the mentorship programme, opportunities are explored and goals are set in the areas of education and learning, citizenship and identity, family and community, sport and recreation and work and money.
